the creative writing house is having an Aleksandar Hemon reading tonight—I’m going with some Paris people, of course, because they all had Aleksandar aka Sasha for their craft class. took a gander at the cwp email and J-Saf is introing Sasha. shouldn’t he be busy going to parties for his novel that was recently made into an Oscar-nominated movie? or something? what I really want to do is ask him about those ads that showed the burning twin towers that were all over new york, even near ground zero. 

anyway, excited to hear my favorite Bosnian read tonight and also excited to see my favorite author-turned-toolbag intro him. also I love my school/program because it has events like this. on a weekly basis.
